The students in my school do not have the chance to learn vital skills in life, such as swimming, because of the area in which they live. New equipment will enhance their experience in my class. We teach them survival skills such as the proper way to use a Universal Type 2 life vest. Unfortunately the vests we have are in such bad condition, they are of no use to us, since the straps break when they enter the water. Please help me keep teaching my students the proper way to use a Universal Type 2 vest. If they are ever in a life threatening emergency on or around the water (cruises, air craft, etc.) they have this basic skill to help them survive.
