Die Cut Art Projects

It is with great appreciation and thankfulness that I submit this letter to you. My students and I have been so excited ever since we received the Cricut machine and paper you funded.

The pictures posted on my account are of Thanksgiving place mats one of my classes made. The students were able to complete this activity in one class period. This is a particular blessing as I only have each elementary grade four times a month and we try to fit in as much as possible each time we meet. Once the place mats were laminated the students had a functional and decorative item to use at home.

Several of my high school students are now preparing to use the Cricut machine to make scrapbooks for a free choice project. A few others will use it to create verbiage and graphics for decoupaged jewelry boxes. Each student will be able to customize their project and have the opportunity to use a specialized tool to which they may otherwise never have been exposed.

Our school is in a high poverty area and faces constant budget constraints. The above projects and more like them would never be possible without your kindness and generosity”
