Living in a small rural community, my students need to be given exposure to diversity and tolerance for others. It is so important to read and learn about people that are not like you, and understand their stories! We also need to understand that we all learn in different ways and at different paces. Kindness is always a priority in our classrooms and what better way to experience and learn is there than through excellent children's literature and flexible seating. Having choices in how we learn and what we read are researched based ways to increase student learning. Join me in making a difference today!
