My students are amazing and the hardest workers. These students have disabilities ranging from autism and attention-deficit disorder to dysgraphia, ADHD and emotional disturbances. I love these kids, but they can struggle to access the general education classroom. Almost without exception, they struggle on all written assignments and socially. Technology will allow my students to use their thoughts and ideas directly within class to complete assignments and email or upload them to their teachers instantly. Some students use technology within my room, simply to communicate their basic needs, what they would like to read next and to assist them with emotional regulation. It is because of technology that they find daily success within the classroom envuronment. I hope you will be able to help struggling students learn and feel success every day within the classroom!
