Not all mathematicians are the same! Some math students grasp concepts easier than others. One way to tell if the students are grasping concepts is to have students work a problem on a personal whiteboard and then display their answers at a specific time. We need individual whiteboards for immediate feedback and assessment! My class needs individual whiteboards with dry erase markers to enable students to get instant feedback on their comprehension of concepts. This will allow them the ability to accelerate or slow down the pace to ensure comprehension and reduce frustration. Instant results and engaged students!
