The Van de Graff generator and Eddy Current demo are going to be used to experience electricity and magnetism. The bowling balls and wire are going to be used in a project to make a giant Newton's Cradle. The binders and calculators are simple necessities for students so that each student can practice organizational skills and have their own calculators for class work--including tests and quizzes. Physics and physical science requires hands-on experience to explain the world around us. My students often learn best when they are working with their hands. With these demos they will have the opportunity to own their own learning through firsthand experiences!
