My students range from twelve-years-old to fifteen-years-old. Many of them are behind one or two years due to different situations that they have had to deal with in life. My school is located in New Orleans and many if not all of my students are constantly dealing with violence and poverty. I have so many stories that I could tell, but one thing that inspires me about my students is their resilience. No matter what comes their way they try their best to be successful.
