We currently have a chromebook for every student in my class, but are in need of some working headphones! Part of learning to read is gaining one to one correspondence, which is an essential skill in reading and in mathematics! We have a number of fabulous programs we use daily in our classroom, but it's so loud without working headphones that it can get confusing for my little learners! Hearing the correct sound when a letter or word is put up on the screen will ensure my firsties will correctly learn their letters and sounds. In addition, (pun definitely intended!) hearing directions and numbers being read during math time is so important as well!
