Thank you all so very much for donating to our project "Creating Math Culture in the Classroom". It gives me an overwhelming sense of pride and hope to know that patrons, such as yourselves, value educating children just as much as I do, and are willing to give freely to help in their learning. We greatly appreciate your generous donations and all of the materials will be used wisely and purposefully for various hands-on activities and multiple centers in our classroom. I work in an inner city school where the population is primarily in a low socioeconomic class. My school is has moved to a single gender classroom basis to determine if gender differences will impact learning and test scores...and I teach all boys. Because my students need that hands on, active experience in the classroom, I have to have a lot of materials and activities available for them to use.
