  • Organization = Success

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful donation to my classroom. My students have enjoyed the supplies. They are organized now with color coded folders and notebook for each subject. The impact of having headphones has been amazing. They all enjoy researching online with their new equipment. Learning has come to life for my students. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your generosity!

Thank you again for supporting this project- you have made a tremendous impact in our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Jean

  • Nice and Tidy!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

During Independent reading students have been very chatty, distracted, and unfocused. Since receiving our new flex siting it has given my students the ability to have choices in how they read or complete their assignments. My students have been less disruptive and able to burn off energy throughout the day because it gives them the freedom to choose where to sit. In addition, if anyone is unable to see, they can move up. Thank you for giving my students agility. It has helped to create the tone for a healthy learning environment.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Jean

  • Books Inspire Ideas!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Reading is a way to reinforce comprehension skills and build fluency.

During our independent reading time, my students have been chatty, distracted, and unfocused. Now that we have new reading books, reading time is effective. Students are engaged in their reading, they are quiet, and they take ownership, since they have more interesting book selections. Thank you so much for your donation, you have given them a better opportunity to develop reading comprehension and practice strategies and skills needed to build vocabulary.”

    With gratitude,

  • Step Up: Press, Play, Listen!

    Funded Dec 22, 2017

It is with great appreciation and tremendous gratitude to receive your donation of a much needed listening center. Reading is fundamentally the most important subject to teach, without the knowledge and comprehension of reading, all other subjects become extremely difficult to learn. Through reading, concepts of print, language, sentence structure, comprehension and vocabulary building is taught.

Many of the children that I teach, suffer from learning and emotional disorders. Despite it all, they are still passionate about reading. Your donation of books and CD players is providing them with the opportunity to enjoy advanced leveled literature. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Jean

My students are amazing! I want to ensure that they have everything they need to make their year great! We need supplies like folders to organize our papers and work. We need crayons to draw with. The puzzles are to strengthen problem solving skills and tactile ability skills. We need beanbags to work out our fine motor skills. The sight word steps will help my students learn their sight words and the craft tub will help them create amazing things. Do you remember what first grade was like? My students want to learn. They need the things that will help them become the best readers, writers and mathematicians that they can be. Things like puzzles, beanbags, crayons, folders, pattern cards and treasure chest prizes (for when they are doing a great job) will help them learn throughout the entire school year.
