Remote Learning Activities for an Autism Classroom
Funded Aug 31, 2020Thank you so much for supporting my students during remote learning. Learning during the pandemic has presented us with some serious challenges. Through your support, we were able to better engage students with fun and challenging online activities.
The money that was donated for this project was used to purchase Boom Cards. These cards target all subject areas and are engaging and fun for students. Not only do these digital materials provide fun opportunities for learning but they also provide staff with an easy and streamlined way to collect data and track progress towards specific goals.
My students were so excited to use Boom Cards. They have enjoyed them for both whole and small group online lessons, as well as during independent learning. We are so thankful for the opportunity to have access to so many fun and engaging activities.”

This classroom project was brought to life by AT&T and one other donor.Much Needed Materials for an Autism Classroom
Funded Dec 13, 2017Thank you so very much for your kind and generous donation. The materials that we were able to obtain helped my students in so many ways.
Thanks to you, my students each have a pair of personal headphones. This allows them to do independent computer work without distractions. My students are able to successfully complete their work on TeachTown Basics and IReady. These computer programs help my students learn academics, as well as social and life skills. The headphones that you funded are allowing my students to fully benefit from these valuable programs.
Thank you for the laminate, paper, and printer ink. These supplies have given me the opportunity to make behavioral visuals, academic file folder games, flashcards, and so much more! I am able to provide my students with the visuals that they require in order to learn successfully in the classroom.
Thank you for the Expo markers. My students benefit from repetition when learning. They use Expo markers everyday to document things such as the weather and the date. They also use Expo markers to improve their fine motor skills. This has truly been a huge help in our classroom.
Again, thank you so much for your kind donation. We appreciate your willingness to help us learn. We are so very grateful.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Larsen-Baker
