Our students were born in a time when technology is a huge focus of their life. Technology will also play a tremendous role in their adult life, and I want to give my students a head start by allowing them to experience the latest technology in the safety of school. The students will be able to see their ideas come to life in 3D (pun intended) with this 3D printer and filment. Aerospace engineering students will be able to print the airfoils they engineer. Civil engineering and design students will be able to print a mini model of their Habitat for Humanity Homes. Precalculus students will be able to print different objects with the use of the functions we learn. And of course, there are many more applications my students and I will be able to explore together.
