Flexible seating will provide our students with a way to release energy while learning. Some students prefer to fidget while learning. Some prefer to move their feet, while some prefer to rock or bounce. Our goal is for every student to feel comfortable, successful, safe, and loved. Giving our students a way to release their energy in a productive way will help the students be more comfortable and successful in the classroom. If a student isn't comfortable and has energy they can't release appropriately, they will not feel successful. We hope that we can provide multiple seating options for our students that need them. No one child is the same as the other, and that includes how they like to sit while learning.
