  • Print it Out!

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for funding this project and for supporting my students and my classroom! My students love to make block prints and they are blown away with the new blocks - they carve and hold ink so well the students are making even more than before! The variety of sizes (especially the rolls of linoleum!) are inspiring the students to think even bigger than before. These materials will let my students push themselves even further in their artwork. Thank you for everything you do for my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Swaty

  • Let's Work From Observation

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

My students love exploring new materials and drawing the new props. These materials will have provided students with exciting ways to work on their portrait and figure drawing skills. These resources inspire the students to keep creating and exploring more ways to express themselves. They love having the full skeleton in the room as a reference. The drawing boards have helped them work larger, especially in our limited space. Thank you so much for all of your support! It has made such an impact in their education!”

  • Let's Finish the Year Strong!

    Funded Apr 7, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting my students! The new scratchboard, lino cut and intaglio tools have been revolutionary for my students. The quality and variety of the tools had sparked a renewed interest in printmaking for many of my students.

The stamp pads have become a great tool for smaller prints, and the silk screens and screen printing equipment have helped students start to print on fabrics. Thank you so much for your continued support of our program and my students! You have made a huge difference for my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Swaty

  • Print, Sculpt and Paint!

    Funded Feb 7, 2022

These materials allowed my students to not only pursue new artistic endeavors, but to put together an art pop up sale at our yearly fine arts night. Students were able to learn about pricing materials in regards to selling artwork to make a profit and having a general sense of how to handle money. They created pottery, jewelry and prints to sell to our community. We had a huge turn out and our sale was a huge success! Thank you for supporting our students and our program. They learned a lot of skills that they will carry with them through their careers as artists.”

  • Let's Get Arty

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

My students use so many of these resources daily! The Woodzilla Presses get used constantly in my classroom. They loved using the smaller ones, and were shocked to see how much bigger the new presses were. The students love using them to create large block prints.

My students love experimenting with the electrolytic etching! We discuss the chemistry behind it and how it works. The new setup allows students to be able to experience it twice as fast.

The non photo blue pencils and the new prismacolors have helped students push their color work even further!”

  • Draw, Print and Read!

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

These resources have had a significant impact on the research skills, knowledge of contemporary artists, and serving as instructional guides that my students use to broaden their views of art and techniques to approach. Students read daily in class and these books give them a way to incorporate their love of art and reading together. The materials allowed them to try out the new techniques they discovered in the books they received. Thank you for all of your support of our students - this donation has made such a significant impact!”

  • Exploring Color and Value

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

These materials have allowed my students to create such amazing artwork! They were so excited when the materials arrived. They have been exploring value and color, and especially love using the new markers! The new tools have allowed them to build upon their knowledge and advance their artistic abilities. They have begun experimenting with how the materials interact. I cannot wait to see what they create next. Thank you for all of your continued support of my students. It helps instill so much inspiration to my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Swaty

My students love printmaking. They enjoy the process as well as duplicating their images and sharing them with their friends. The addition of this Etching Printing Press to my classes will allow my students to experiment with and experience the different types of printmaking. My students are always excited to do block printing and ask about different types of printmaking when completed, only to find that etching and embossing require a press. Being able to emboss will allow my students to experiment with modifying their paper and different ways to manipulate block printing. The clear printing plates will allow my students to experiment with dry-point etching with safe materials and let my students experience radically different methods of printmaking.
