Safety First is an expression I often use in my classroom. Four year old children are notorious for rushing into a situation without thought. But my children are also tired of not being able to use our tricycles because we don't have helmets. Imagine the pure joy a child feels when they are able to ride a tricycle because we now have safety helmets. I know my students would love to use up their excess energy by going to the playground and pedaling their tricycles as fast as they can without the worry of hurting themselves. Thank you for your consideration.
