  • Drumming It Out in Math Class

    Funded May 17, 2021

Thank you for your generosity toward my classes. We have used the drumming sticks, and everyone has had a great time! The little brain breaks mean a lot to students who are trying their best after two crazy years of a pandemic. I expect a lot of my students, and the desk drumming is an easy way for them to have fun, get their wiggles out, and get a bit of cardio in at the same time. The gift you have given all of my students is something they will remember doing for a long time. I appreciate you and your thoughtfulness. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Shadbolt

  • Brick Buddies for All

    Funded Dec 22, 2021

Thank you so much for providing these for my students! They love building with Legos, and to have their own little pack and person to use whenever they have some extra time has been pretty exciting. We work hard on math and science in my classroom, and small brain-break rewards are important to keep school fun. Building with bricks is something that inspires creativity, enhances small motor skills, allows my students to step away from their regular lesson for a bit to help refresh and renew before the next lesson. Thank you again for your generosity and support.”

  • Learning Through STEM

    Funded Nov 20, 2017

I know this is a couple years later, but I wanted to thank you again for your support and generosity. My students loved working together with the STEM Kits. They learned so much from trying things out instead of just hearing or reading about the subjects. I know that your donations truly made a difference in my classroom, and while those students have gone on to higher grades, the impact of working with the STEM Kits and thinking like engineers and scientists has continued to help them in their other science classes. Thank you again for helping my students.”

  • Learning to Tell Time in an Amazing Way

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Oh my gosh! These clocks are amazing! Thank you so much for donating toward a class set and teacher model. They will be used for years to come.

The numbers come off and can be used as a timeline to teach students how a clock works. It makes it much easier to add and subtract times when learning like this. This project makes learning time hands-on and fun. It is a basic life skill that many students miss out on, because they are used to digital clocks. With these manipulative clocks, students will learn how time and clocks or, so they will always be able to tell time wherever they are. Thank you again for your generosity and thoughtfulness.”

  • Let's Not Share Our Germs

    Funded Oct 8, 2018

I apologize for not sending you a thank-you much sooner. I do appreciate your help and generosity toward my students. Please accept my apologies, and know that you are truly making a difference in the classrooms you are supporting.

My classroom was much cleaner and healthier with the supplies from the project "Let's Not Share Our Germs." The hand sanitizer and tissues helped a lot during cold and flu season, and the students were thankful to be able to use both. I appreciate not having to pull out my wallet to purchase these materials during the school year. It allows me to spend money on more fun things for my students.

Thank you again for your generosity and support.”

    With gratitude,

  • A Holiday Pack to Keep Them Learning

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

A huge thank you to all the donors who helped fund this project! I really appreciate this gift. My students will now have the materials they need to follow along with me during math lessons. Also they will have supplies to play math games at home with their families. This time spent reviewing math skills and bonding with their families is so important, now more than ever, with the pandemic.”

My students need Real-World STEM Challenge Kit, STEM Science Stations, Create-A-Path Magnetic Center, Engineer-A-Coaster to help them think like scientists and engineers as they explore the STEM design process and solve problems. These activities that are project-based, encourages collaborative problem solving and introduces STEM projects at a level that will be just right for my students! The activities come with a complete set of books and posters that will provide helpful background knowledge about the many different STEM projects. These are just the type of activities that will support college and career readiness within my students. The children will have to save a town from a flash flood, rescue a toy bear from a well and also guide a family across a bridge safely. The STEM kit was developed in order to help children think like scientists and engineers as they explore the STEM design process and solve problems. The students will have a hands on approach to plan, build and test their designs. If the designs are unsuccessful the first time, they will have the opportunity to improve their designs until they reach success. The STEM kit comes ready to use and the students will immediately be working through three exciting challenges. The STEM activities also come with detailed lesson plans that will make it easy to focus the students’ learning and to explain the STEM concepts behind each challenge. Along with the activities, the STEM kit also comes with career cards that will let the students apply what they are learning to the real world. I am excited to give my students the chance to explore and solve real world problems through hands-on learning. They will be actively engaged while learning valuable skills all with the help of these STEM project kits.
