  • Books for Bookworms

    Funded Apr 9, 2025

Thank you so much for your donation to our project. Book club is a passion of mine. I LOVE seeing our kiddos come to check out books and discuss the stories. These books have themes of acceptance and bullying. They are about science and history concepts. I can't wait to tell our book club participants that we have new books for next year! They will be so excited!

It was very generous and we appreciate your kindness. Thank you so much!!!!”

  • SEL to the Rescue

    Funded Dec 19, 2024

We are so incredibly grateful for your generous donation to our class project. We have seen a need for more instruction when it comes to social-emotional learning and with the young kiddos a great way to model this for them is through literature. We read a story like "Ruby Has a Worry" and it teaches them how to talk about their worries. And they will literally reference the character in the story. "Remember when Ruby had a worry, what did she do?".

We have placed these books in our classroom library-we read and reread them daily. The students love these books and it has brought so much joy to our class. The students asked "who bought these books for us?" and I said "a very kind person did". I teach students who do not have much in the way of resources at home. They were so touched that someone they don't even know would support them in this way.

We are truly grateful for your kindness!”

  • Math Magic

    Funded Aug 18, 2024

We are so incredibly grateful for your generous donation to our project. We use the math manipulatives every day to help us learn our basic math skills. We use them to count, add, subtract and estimate.

Students need hands-on practice in order to build a foundation in number sense. Because of your generosity I was able to give this to my students this year. Our students come from an area with limited resources. Your support is helping them receive the best education possible.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

  • To Be Continued....

    Funded Aug 6, 2024

We are so incredibly grateful for your donation to make our project come to life! The students have started their book club and are already reading some quality titles both to inform and to entertain. They stop me in the halls to discuss some of the books and authors.

Our students do not have much in the way of resources at home. These books and this book club give us the opportunity to allow students to check out books to read on their own and share with their families. They are excited and passionate about reading thanks to your contributions.

With all the budget cuts, we would not have been able to offer this club to our students without your help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

  • Graphic Novels Are Real Books

    Funded Aug 18, 2024

We are so incredibly grateful for your donation to our project. This graphic novel club was a big hit! I have about 30 students who come to school early once a week. We discuss the books, they have the opportunity to check out books.

I had a student last year who is dyslexic and would always say reading was hard for him. He just didn't enjoy it. I saw him at dismissal the other day quietly reading his I Survived graphic novel! Because these books have lots of visuals and speech bubbles-it makes it easier for students with learning disabilities and even our students learning English as a second language to enjoy.

The kids pass me in the hall and ask when the next book club meeting is every day! I am so thankful we could continue this club because there certainly wasn't money in our budget for books.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are a great role model of kindness for our students and we are truly grateful.”

  • In Our Bookish Era

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

With heartfelt thanks we express our gratitude for your generous donations to our project. Our district has dissolved our library services department which means the annual student book club is in jeopardy. We decided to keep that tradition going and create our own list of diverse, fun stories to share with the students next year.

Some of our students have been participating in this book club since Kinder and are getting ready to enter 5th grade. They were overjoyed to hear that their beloved tradition would continue and that is all thanks to you.

I cannot articulate how grateful we are. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

  • Kindergarten Learning

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

We are so incredibly grateful for your generous donation to our class project! My students faces were bright and excited when they saw these boxes come in. We use the materials every single day-it has transformed our classroom. We are more organized an also have more engaging activities for our students.

You are a role model for kindness and giving to our young students. They were so touched that strangers cared about them enough to fund our project. We are eternally grateful.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts”

  • Representation Matters

    Funded Mar 3, 2023

We are so incredibly grateful for your generous donation. My students devoured the books and even enjoyed checking them out and taking them home to share with their families. I loved seeing them choose books with characters that looked like themselves and represented their families and culture.

My students are growing up in an area of low economic development and do not have access to resources like rich books at home. You helped them develop their reading skills and also helped develop a passion for reading. We can't teach kids how to read without books-you are a hero to us!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

  • Supplies for My Superstars

    Funded Dec 30, 2022

We are so incredibly grateful for your help in getting supplies for our class. We use the clorox wipes, paint and pencils every single day. My students were so excited to see those boxes arrive and couldn't believe that a stranger helped them get the supplies they needed to help them learn.

We are so incredibly grateful for your kindness and generosity. My students said to tell you that they love you and that you have a good heart!

As teachers, we spend a lot on our classrooms and having these supplies already has helped so much.

    Thank you! Gracias! Merci!”

  • Workstations for 1st Grade

    Funded Oct 6, 2022

We are so incredibly grateful for your generous donation to our 1st Grade class. We are responsible for laying the foundation for reading skills and with everything going on in the world today our students have had some learning loss and have gaps we need to fill.

Now with young kiddos, the more fun it is the more engaging it is. So we need to practice skills by playing games. These resources are helping us every day to build those basic reading skills. The students rotate through games with spelling and their sight words. We have already seen more growth in their reading rates because of you!

We are truly grateful for your kindness. What an amazing role model for our students for giving. Thank you! Thank you!”

One day my student asked me a question and I answered "well,l when I'm at work...." and she interrupted me and said you work???" I don't see teaching as a "job" and I'm glad my students have that same vision. Our students are curious, bright, precocious Kindergarteners. They come to school every day with a smile on their face ready to learn. We teach them reading, math and the basics as well as empathy, citizenship and social skills. I want to ensure that my students have everything they need to be successful.
