  • Our Boys Basketball Team Needs Your Help!

    The resources provided in this project have really helped my students. We have been able to use the equipment in practice to improve basketball fundamentals. My students were thrilled when they saw the materials, it was completely unexpected to them. They were very appreciative.

    This year we would love to be able to get more equipment to use in practice, and shooting shirts for our pregame warm up. Many schools have these and it increases their motivation. Sometimes our students feel down on themselves because they cannot afford these packages the school offers for gear.

Our school is located in Cutler Ridge Miami, Florida. The students in the area come from all different background with low financial income. The team has had several setbacks between transfers, injuries and Hurricane Irma. We are asking for your help in order to help bring this team to its full potential. Having the equipment necessary will help these student-athletes build their moral, and help them train properly. The boys are also in need of matching socks and equipment for the upcoming basketball season. Fundraising has been difficult and we are a new team with a new coach. The team money the team has raised has gone to team shoes, and warm-ups leaving little to no money for equipment for the regular season.
