  • Flexible Seating for Success!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

My students are loving all of their new flexible seating options! They are great for small group, station and independent work time.

The balance boards have allowed my students the flexibility to stand up and wiggle while they are working. The seat cushions have given my students more comfort when they are working on the floor.

My students were THRILLED to receive all of their seating options! They still talk about how neat all of the seats are.

We are so thankful for your kind contribution to our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Griner

  • Hands On Learning With Games in Math

    Funded Aug 10, 2024

My students and I are using our hands on materials for math every day. They are very helpful in reinforcing hard to learn math concepts.

Their favorite hands on materials so far have been the fly swatters, playing cards and the little white paper cups. The fly swatters have been used for students to swat at their answer choice instead of just circling it. The playing cards have been used to play math games such as multiplication war. The paper cups have allowed students to answer questions and then build a tower based on their answers.

My students are definitely more engaged during math time thanks to your generous donations!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Griner

  • Let's Get Organized in 3rd Grade!

    Funded May 10, 2024

We are loving our materials from this project. The book bins are keeping us very organized. We use them to keep materials such as textbooks, spirals, folders and whiteboards neat. The colored dry erase pockets have been a huge help in saving paper for copies. These pockets have allowed me to make fewer copies of worksheets while still allowing students to complete them. They are able to write their answers in dry erase marker and then erase their work when they are finished.

My students were very excited to finally have a place to keep all of their needed materials each day. They waste less time trying to gather everything they need for the day by just being able to grab their book bins.

We are so appreciative of you for allowing us to remain organized throughout the year. You are making such a huge impact on a room full of 3rf graders.”

  • Comfortable Seats for Collaboration!

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom! My students love our new materials! We were able to get some sharpie pens and dry erase markers to help us learn! We also received a ton of candy to use as prizes!

My students love being able to show their work using dry erase markers and whiteboards instead of traditional paper and pencil.

The candy has come in handy as a behavior incentive. Students are able to "purchase" candy with tickets that they earn for good behavior. This system has helped our behavior management tremendously.

Thank you again supporting my classroom!”

  • Fidget Toys for Hands on Learning!

    Funded Jul 15, 2021

My students are loving the fidget toys! They are not only excited because they are fun, but they are excited to use them to help learn area and perimeter in a fun way. My students are benefiting greatly from learning area and perimeter in a very tactile way. I am enjoying how much success they are having with the concept. The other benefit of the fidget toys is they are providing a way to help some of my high needs students relax and stay focused.

My students are so grateful for a tool to help them learn a math concept in a fun, exciting, tactile way. The look on their faces when I pull them out of the cabinet is priceless.

Thank you for supporting my classroom and making learning fun for all my students!”

  • Floor Seats for Fantastic Fourth Graders!

    Funded May 9, 2021

My students are loving our new floor table and seats! They are super comfortable and provide students with a great alternative to a regular desk and chairs. My favorite moment so far has been when students came in on meet the teacher night, they were so excited to see if they were assigned to sit there.

They have been so happy with the floor table and chairs. They love that the backs of the chairs have the ability to be adjusted for their personal comfort level. This is very easy to do and doesn't take a lot of time.

Thank you again for donating to our classroom! My students and I are ready for a successful year with our floor table and chairs!”

  • Safe Seating for Students!

    Funded May 5, 2021

My students and I are loving our fuzzy, bright colored rugs to keep us safe during group work. They are the perfect size for students to be able to work together while still keeping a safe distance. They have also helped immensely with transition time. Because they are different colors, students are able to quickly find their fellow group members.

My students were thrilled when they first saw the fuzzy rugs! One of them even commented, "Wow! This rug is so soft! I can't stop running my fingers through it!" So it's safe to say they are loving the comfy place to work.

Thank you again for donating to our classroom! We are excited for a successful year!”

  • Learning Math Is Fun With Discovery Cans

    Funded May 24, 2019

My students are loving the Math in a Flash Discovery Cans! They are using them to reinforce math concepts that are taught in class. I use these with my students who are struggling during small groups. They tell me how much fun it is to be able to manipulative the different materials in the cans.

My students were so excited to receive these materials. They begged to take them out as soon as we received them.

My students are using these Discovery Cans to help them master the concepts we are learning in class.

Thank you so much for all of your support for my classroom. My students and I are so grateful for each of you!”

  • Learning With Osmo in 4th!

    Funded Aug 22, 2018

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our project! My students are LOVING the Osmo kit. We have created many fun things with it already.

My students use Osmo to help them with basic math skills. One of their favorite games to play is Osmo Numbers. This program allows them to master their basic math facts but giving them a number and allowing them to compose and decompose that number. We have seen HUGE gains in math fact fluency since using this program. My students are now excited about learning their basic math facts. I could not have asked for a better program to help me with filling in gaps in learning math.

Again, I can't thank you enough for your support of my classroom! You are helping change the future by giving opportunities for students to become amazing problem solvers!”

  • Coding With Dash and Dot!

    Funded Sep 18, 2018

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to donating to this project. My students are thrilled! We are using the Dash and Dot to practice our coding skills during our after school Coding Club! My students are learning valuable life skills such as teamwork and problem solving using the Dash and Dot robot.

The look on my students' faces were priceless. They were so excited to finally receive the Dash and Dot robot! They were even more excited when they were able to get him out of the box and experiment with different codes.

My students wanted to make sure you knew that our Dash and Dot robot's name is Timmy! :)”
