    Thank you so much! This donation has kept so many of my kids motivated and excited to get back to school and to normalcy. The pandemic took away so much from the kids that I am now seeing a positive movement for them. The mental and socio growth that is being developed and positively encouraged is amazing and couldn't have been done without your generous donations.   • On The Court, Not The Streets

    Thank you for your generous donation. Some of these kids were struggling coming back to school, some just needed some kind of normalcy because of covid, and some needed a reward for committing to coming back to in person school. Sports was that output. It has also helped me find ways to help all age groups. Some of the kids really struggled in school academically but knowing that they had to try harder do that they could play made them really try. And it also encouraged the other kids to help out their teammates and/or younger friends that are in the teams.”

    This classroom project was brought to life by National Fitness Foundation and 2 other donors.
The use of basketballs will help with the teaching of basketball skills. Not always having enough equipment to go around has been a problem. The bag is to keep everything in place and orderly. My students will take pride that I believe enough in them to try to get them the materials we need so that they can be successful and feel proud of themselves, their school, and their community. By having this program it will motivate kids to want to participate more as well as go to school more willingly. Having a positive outlook will give the students the determination they need to succeed not only in school but in life.

About my class
