  • Building Words and Structures with Magnatiles

    Funded Apr 7, 2025

Thank you all so very much for your generous donations to my project! I can't wait to see my students interact with the new materials! They always enjoy new materials. I am curious to see them with the letters and the magnatiles and what words they will spell! Thanks again :)”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ault

  • Paper Storage Center and Star Twinkle Lights!

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project for the paper storage shelf and the star twinkle lights for our classroom.

The storage shelf has been so very helpful. It is nice to have a place to store construction paper in our classroom where the students are able to access it themselves!

The star twinkle lights are a great addition to our classroom for a different type of lighting (other than the typical florescent overhead lighting). They are programmable so we can change them from being on constantly, to fading, to twinkling!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ault

  • Letters and Shapes, Oh My!

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to this project. My students are always so excited when we have new materials to explore!

My students have enjoyed having another set of tactile letters so they can make more/bigger words with them! They enjoy the color and shape sorter (they like putting things in and taking things out of containers!). We have used the wooden individual ABC puzzles as part of their task box activities (activities that they do on their own that work on different tasks that they need extra practice on). The magnetic ABC board has been fun and challenging as they figure out how to maneuver the magnet to the proper spot! I love that they don't give up, they keep trying until they figure it out!

We use the majority of the materials during our center time, so they have free access to them. We decided that they individual ABC puzzles has too many pieces for them to have free access all of the time, so it works perfectly as a task box activity!”

  • Fun Snapping Fine Motor Materials

    Funded Jan 19, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students have had so much fun playing with and manipulating the new materials. They have started to combine the robot and dinosaur snap on toys making the greatest combinations!

They love mixing up and matching the parts for the people on the emotions puzzle. Some have started imitating the same facial expressions that they see on the faces!

Again, thank you so much for helping me help our students with their fine motor skills and learning and understanding emotions!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ault

  • Fine Motor and Light Table Materials

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards this project! My students love the light table materials and the fine motor materials. We have been using the lacing materials to help with our fine motor skills and the colored pegs on the light table for the past several days! We have also used the keys (they love the different colors and the sound they make when they shake them!). The tactile alphabet letters look great on the light table! They like trying to make simple words and feeling the different textures on the letters. We are so thankful for your help in getting these new materials for our classroom!”

    Mrs. Ault

  • Happy Hair Book for Our Book Vending Machine

    Funded Apr 4, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards the Happy Hair board books. This book has been a favorite of my class over the last school year. I'm so excIted to share it with others!

This book will be used in our new book vending machine as an incentive with PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports)! Students will earn coins for the book vending machine to select the book of their choice!

The students are so excited when they walk past the book vending machine and look at some familiar books that we have read or have in our classroom. Again, thank you so much for your donation to this project!”

  • Tabletop Light Table and Materials

    Funded Dec 16, 2021

I would like to say thank you so very much for the table top light table and the materials to go it! My students have loved using it each day! We been using the letters, numbers and the shapes. They love seeing the different colors, trying to make words with the letters and making different shapes with the shape manipulatives!

When the materials arrived, they were curious (I will admit to having one student a little more interested in the packing box than the actual table top light table!) and got busy right away exploring the materials.

I would love to add some more materials that we can use on our table top light table. The students are having so much fun with it!

Again, thank you so much for your generous donations!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ault

  • New Puzzles and Manipulatives

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

I am so thankful for all of your donations to this project. My students have already been enjoying the new materials for our classroom. They were excited when they saw all of the new puzzles and pop beads.

Some of the new puzzles are a little more challenging as they do not have a picture behind all of the puzzles pieces (some have a shadow instead, so they have the figure out which puzzle piece goes there by its shape, not picture!), they have been enjoying the challenge. The pop beads have been a big hit - they love connecting them, trying to make a necklace or crown or just dumping and picking them up!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ault

  • Mini Fridge for the Classroom

    Funded Apr 18, 2021

Thank you so much for donating towards our mini fridge for our classroom. We serve breakfast and lunch in our room, so by having a fridge this will help us to keep any special drinks/snacks that our students require cold and in the classroom for easy reach to distribute to our students. It will also allow myself and teaching assistant to keep water bottles for ourselves cold in our classroom.

We like to have special treats to give to our students as incentives on hand as well. Having a mini fridge in the class will be helpful for that so that we can pull them out anytime we need/want to reward our students with a special cold treat!

Again, thank you so much for your donations!”

  • Photo Paper and Photo Ink!

    Funded Apr 18, 2021

Thank you so much for contributing to this project. We go through many photo ink cartridges and photo paper throughout the school year, so having this donation is huge for us! In a typical school year, we have over 32 students because we are a half day classroom (we have 16 in each class), so we use a lot of ink and paper! This school year during COVID, we had only 24 students at a time (12 in each class).

I take many pictures of my students and their families to put up and/or use around the classroom to make the class more inviting and feel like a home environment. I take their pictures for the name tags along with their name in print. I use their pictures to help them identify their cubby/locker. I take pictures of them with their families and display on the fridge. I also take pictures of them with their classmates participating in activities. At the end of the school year, these pictures all go home with the children so that have something to remember their time in our classroom.

Again, thank you so much for donating to this project!”

    Mrs. Ault
