    Thank you for your donation to fund my project. I will make sure the items received are used on a daily basis by the students in order to continue to work on team building activities. The group of students that I will be working with this school year had their primary years change dramatically because of the pandemic and I am really working hard at making sure they know how to work well together in small groups with me or independenlty with their classmates.   • Let's Keep Things Entertaining And Educational!

    My co-teacher and I are so thankful for the support you have provided us during this very challenging school year. Your generous donation has made such an impact in our classroom. We work at a charter school and our school building is actually a church. With the school doing their best to keep up with CDC guidelines and maintaining 3-6 feet of distance our classroom ended up being the back of the church. We have lots of technology but the IPAD that was funded has helped us turn our flat screen TV's into Smart Boards. We have been able to be more fluid within our classroom. Instead of sitting behind our desks we have been able to walk around and have a better feel of our classroom and our students. We are so grateful for your support and really appreciate your generosity.”

These tablets will help my students work on STEAM projects in class and take them a step further. This will allow the students to explore videos on the projects we are working on as well as allow them to do online research on topics we are discussing in class. The tablets will facilitate working in small groups and allow the groups to be mobile around the school campus. For some of my students these tablets maybe the only opportunity they have during the day to work online and experience the internet and how it can add to the classroom lesson. I want my students to embrace technology and not be afraid of it. I love teaching STEAM and these tablets will help bring technology and the 21st century learning instruments into our classroom on a daily basis.
