    Thanks so much for your gracious and generous donations. We are so thankful! This donation has opened my student's eyes. It now gives them hope that there are people out there who care about their education and them succeeding. Switching up how learning is done, with the gaming system will have motivate my student's to work hard. It's a huge help with classroom participation and behavior improvements. My student's are eager to improve and work hard to get a chance at playing the Nintendo Switch in our in class entertainment center. Again, we are so thankful!”

  • Water Makes Everything Grow!

    We want to truly thank you for your donation! My students and I are forever graceful. This donation opened my student's eyes and made them aware that there are people out there who truly care about them and their well-being. The kids now have clean drinkable water! There are enough cups for everyone as well. The Lysol wipes will help us keep the germs away. The kids did not think water was a huge issue, but after not having clean drinkable Water for long time, the kids now know to never take things for granted.   • Hurricane Harvey Won't Stop US From Learning!

    Being awarded the latest technology in class is an amazing privilege and honor. Suffering through a natural disaster such as Hurricane Harvey has not only unified us as people but has made us realize the big help we have from around the country. Having our campus destroyed was not the idea my students and I had when beginning the school year. However your donation was definitely needed and appreciated.

    We received our packages and the looks on the face of my students lit up as can be seen in our pictures. My students can not wait to get our store fully up and running. We have already started inputting our classroom store inventory into the laptops. This project is teaching my students about supply and demand, as well as management skills. This was a great way to introduce financial literacy as well. I see many more great things coming from this project in the future! I have already started giving out cougar bucks! The cougar bucks will be used for the student to purchase items from our classroom store. We came up with a name for our store as well, we will call it our little own Mathtastic Mini Mart! This project will teach my students that "hard work pays off!" Once again, I thank you very much for supporting my students education."”

Our students will be using these tablets for years to come. My students really enjoyed snacking on the snacks and having clean water to drink! The board game and the resource books are a hit too, it gives is news ways to learning old materials. My students now have plenty of pencils as well! After Hurricane Harvey, our students were really discourage about learning. They felt very unwanted and over looked. So, I want to give them a classroom where they feel important and loved. We need basic supplies like pencils in the classroom in order to complete daily assignments. Math is a tough subject and most of our students are below grade level. Using interactive games such basic math facts cards, puzzles and bumper cars game as new ways to learning old material without feeling discouraged. It is very challenging to instruct children and expect them to give their best efforts when they feel like no one cares. I also want to give them a classroom where their learning can be both fun and hands on by using the tablets for math apps and engaging using the games to play fun interactive math puzzles that both strengthens and challenge their learning. With technology being on the rise in the classroom, there are endless ways to making math fun. As a reward system my students want snacks to reward their positive behavior and learning improvements. So when my students succeed, they will have some of their favorite snacks to choose from such as airheads, rice krispies, gummy snacks and etc. All people are more motivated when they know their hard work will be acknowledged and rewarded. However, these items can become costly. I want to make learning fun and exciting for all my students, however it is discouraging when they feel that no one cares about their education and making sure they have what they need and want to succeed. Your generous donations will help motivate students to work hard in the classroom.
