Seating for all!

When the package arrived from Donors choose, our students were thrilled to open it! They had huge smiles on their faces! Our students used to sit in the meeting area on a carpet, which they often complained was dirty and uncomfortable. Now they each have their own seat cushion! Being more comfortable and happy while learning has helped increase their focus and understanding! They also use these cushions at their chains on their on seats. The students also loved the lap desks! Instead of having to sit at their desks all day, this offers them another option when working. Many of them enjoy working while sitting on the floor and now they can!

My co teacher and I started this project at the end of last year, so our students were able to benefit from the flexible seating for only the last month of school. We are excited to use them again this year and can't wait for our students this coming school year to be able to use them again. Thank you to all of our amazing donors! We so appreciate your help!”
