  • Pride Football

    Funded Dec 5, 2024

Thank you so much for your support of the East Harlem Pride Football program. It is always a challenge for us to get the resources our student-athletes need to be successful. We rely on a very limited budget, donations, and hand me down items. One obviously essential item for our team is footballs. Given the weather and wear and tear that places on our footballs getting six new game balls for the upcoming season is hugely important. Our students are extremely excited about next season and the new game footballs will help them be successful. Additionally, this will free up our resources to be able to purchase other items that the program needs. Thank you for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Schmidt

  • Homerun

    Funded Apr 11, 2010

Thanks to everyone for your support of the East Harlem Pride. We had a successful first year finishing off the season with a record of 4 wins and 4 losses. Our player athletes made great strides this spring and we look forward to more success in the future. Your donations will continue to serve our athletes in the years to come and we have in place a strong foundation for a successful baseball program. Our athletes worked hard all year long and appreciate your support in helping them get better each and every single day.

    Thanks.”

The East Harlem Pride is an athletic consortium made up from three small schools in the area. The surrounding area is impoverished and nearly devoid of healthy, active outlets for young people. Many students have grown up with a love for baseball and have played on the streets and in empty lots, but now they have the opportunity to compete on an interscholastic team. Our players are committed and dedicated to the team, the program, and each other. Most of the players have not had the chance to be a part of a real team and learn what it means to be a responsible team player.
