Funded Dec 4, 2023Thank you once again for the generous donations which has greatly impacted our class environment. With the help of your donations, our class is now equipped with a printer. The printer is used in the classroom to print student work, student data, assignments, as well as other daily activities to enhance student learning.
The students were often disappointed when they were unable to access many types of printed work. With the addition of this much needed technological resource, the students in the classroom were so excited to show off all their work!

Funded Apr 8, 2022Thank you once again for your support to our classroom. Our class library needed some sprucing up and updating over the last few years. Once we received your generous donations, we got to work right away!
The students were so excited to see all the colorful bins and take ownership in re-creating their classroom library. Students went through bins to see what books needed repairs, and to organize them into the leveled bins. Seeing the joy and excitement in their activities was priceless. It shows how exciting these small things can be to our young students.
Your donations have transformed our library nook into a cozy, colorful niche where students get lost in the books and stories. You will see the pictures attached to get a glimpse of how much they enjoy every moment of independent reading time.

Funded Dec 1, 2020As we embark on the 1-year anniversary of the Covid-19 pandemic and remote instruction to our students, the importance of technology has never been acknowledged more. As teachers switched gears to remote instruction almost overnight last spring, many of us were left without the proper equipment to deliver instruction.
With your kind support and consideration for the needs of our young learners, it has become possible to use a high quality laptop to deliver instruction to my young learners. The new laptop that has been funded is vital to planning, teaching and projecting lessons, whether the students are in-person or at home learning remotely.
Each and every student in my classroom has been impacted by your donation as the laptop is used everyday. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel everyday. Thank you again.”

Funded May 19, 2019The impact of the supplies that you helped fund is profound. Before having this projector funded, my students would receive instruction the old-fashioned way of pencil to book only. There was not a method for me to display the information visually to all students at the same time. Often times, I would walk around with the laptop to each student so they were visually engaged.
Now, with the visual supplies, the lessons are more impactful as students not only hear the lesson, but see the information as a whole group. This sparks better questioning, as they are all able to refer to the information visually. My English language learners benefit even more as they grasp not only new content, but a whole new language!
We are living in such a technology based era, that some of these students will sometimes shutdown as information becomes tedious for them to absorb. The use of the classroom visuals keeps them engaged as they make mental connections between the content learned and the world they live in. Your donations will always keep giving as each year, a different group of my students continue to learn and grow through the use of the classroom visual aids you helped to supply. Thank you is not enough.”

The iPads and laptop are used regularly to read at grade level, do phonics and grammar lessons, and practice mathematics.
As citizens of a global society, the impact of technology is felt throughout all subjects. My students were being deprived of this needed impact due to lack of technology in my classroom.
Now, with the incorporation of this resource, students are eager to be engaged in lessons as they have a more hands on approach to their learning.

Funded Dec 13, 2017A heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you. It is difficult to describe the gratitude that I've seen in the children's eyes and of course, the gratitude I feel for your support.
We received all of our materials when we returned from our Holiday Break in January. The children could not contain their excitement when we opened up all our literacy goodies! We, as a class, also decided on the perfect spot for the beautiful shelf you helped to fund.
My 22 students have been using the resources that you have helped to fund each and every school day. I am amazed to see the growth in them as they take out the different literacy centers each day and soar in their learning of the English language arts. My non English speaking students have also been soaring as they get accustomed to the English alphabet and sounds.
The learning in the classroom speaks more than the words that I use to describe our appreciation . Again, thank you for helping our future generation to overcome challenges and gain the tools they need to succeed!”
