Hear Myself Sound Phones are nifty items that can be used in the classroom while reading. A child reads into the "phone" and hears their voice. This activity allows them to hear the sounds of words. This educational tool is intentionally designed to focus on hearing sounds, enabling students to improve phonemic awareness, and develop phonological processing pathways. Hear Myself Sound Phones also improves students focus and attention while they read independently due to the amplification of a whispered voice. Students will be able to read aloud without disturbing one another. hear Myself Sound Phones will also provide struggling and self conscious readers a level of privacy particularly necessary for building self esteem. With this tool my students will be given the opportunity to gain the confidence they need to improve self correction, practice expression, increase oral language, accelerate reading fluency and pronunciation. Reading Activity Cards give them specific materials to read and practice.
