My students have never had the opportunity to have a class that is solely dedicated to instrumental music where they get to play instruments in the classroom. The students deserve the best education they can receive to improve their quality of life. Music is a culmination of everything that my students learn in-class in everyday. This is where they take everything they learn in other classes and bring to the forefront of their brains. The students in my classes have many hardships at home; school should not be one for them. They should be able to come to my classroom and all be able to play together as a class and be able to experience music-making together. We will utilize the new Orff Alto Xylophones and Soprano Xylophones every week in our classes making sure to utilize them with improving our musicianship in class.
