  • Help Focus Busy Students!

    Funded Aug 26, 2024

Thank you again for the very generous donation. Students love all of the new things they have to help them stay focused.

The wiggly feet are so helpful! They allow a student who can't stop fidgeting, move his feet without noise. It is very helpful not only to him, but also to the students around him. This student is so sweet and the academic gains I've seen are unbelievable.

The pencil toppers are a great way to encourage students to share and talk to partners. The slime is a great incentive. So many great ways to help all of my busy students!”

  • Help Give My Students a New Rug!

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

We want to say a big "THANK YOU" for the new rug in our third grade classroom! It's so colorful and soft, and we love it so much. Every day, we use our new rug for story time, class meetings, and group activities. The new rug makes our classroom cozier, more fun, and a better place to learn. We promise to take good care of the rug by keeping it clean and treating it with respect. Thank you again for your kindness. You've made our classroom a happier place! We are so grateful for your generous gift. "”

  • Fidget Stools Needed!

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank so you much for the wonderful donations! The fidget stools are so amazing! Our fidget stools let us wiggle and move a little bit while we sit, which is great for when we feel a bit wiggly. Some of the stools wobble, and some rock back and forth. It's like having a mini-adventure right at our desks! These awesome chairs help us focus on our lessons and make learning even more fun. We're so happy and thankful that nice donors (like you) gave us these fidget stools. Now, we can move our bodies a little and use our extra energy while we learn. It's amazing how much easier it is to pay attention and do our best work with these cool new chairs!”

  • Let's Grow Some Seeds!

    Funded May 19, 2023

Thanks you so much for your very generous donations! Receiving all the wonderful materials made myself and my students so happy! All of my students were thrilled when all of the amazing plants and plant growing curriculum arrived. We had great talks about what plants need to grow and survive. All of the students were able to grow their own basil plants and take them home at the end of the year.

The students were so excited to learn about the world around them. Learning about how things grow and what they need to survive taught all my students about the importance of protecting the environment and how important it is to treat nature with respect.

  • Great Books for Great Students!

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

Thank you thank you thank you for all of the generous donations! The students are so excited for all of the new books! They especially love all of the great shark books! Watching the excitement on their sweet little faces when I showed them all of the new books was so inspiring. One student loves tigers. After looking through the new tiger book , purchased with the donations, he learned that sometimes tigers are killed by poachers. This started us on a conversation about why and how to protect endangered animals. These books allow the class to have so many more conversations about the things that interest them. Thank you again!”

Watching students become excited and want to show other students what they have discovered in their books is so special.

In addition, we received watercolor paper. My students also have developed a passion for art. Every week we have an art project and this watercolor paper is a much needed material. The disinfecting wipes are a great way to clean up art at the end of the day!
