My goal to to teach and reinforce all subject areas by engaging students in group participation and using critical thinking to "breakout". Breakout EDU is an engaging new concept in teaching and learning in which participants use critical thinking, teamwork, and complex problem solving to conquer "escape room" challenges. Breakouts can be used to enhance any subject area and reinforces the skills and critical thinking that is needed to master the standards that are being taught in the classroom. Students use technology integration, skill based knowledge and collaboration to figure out codes that will unlock a box or "escape". Each code is unlocked by using grade level proficiency skills. These challenges will bring the students to higher levels of thinking and engagement.
