My students need seating options that allow for movement and collaboration. They need ways to release energy while engaging in rigorous academic content. My 9th graders are active, enthusiastic learners who deserve a responsive and dynamic learning environment. I have selected Wobble Stools that allow for movement while seated and hexagonal desks that lend themselves to single or collaborative configurations. This equipment will allow for flexibilty and individuality among my diverse learners. These resources will enable my students with motor demands to engage in learning without being forced to sit still. Too often we ask students to fit into a specific mold, but this project will help to break the mold and recognize and celebrate differences!
