Crazy Collaborating with Our Classroom Tables
Funded Aug 14, 2024Thank you so much for funding new tables for my class. These tables took the place of old desks that were rusting and losing screws left and right. They were not conducive for working in collaborative groups. Since receiving these tables, my students have increased their student academic discourse and are able to work on group projects more easily. My class is mostly multilingual learners so this increase in discourse and sharing of ideas is so valuable to their learning of content and of the English language.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you so much for your donation to my classroom and my first grade learners!”

Funded May 8, 2024Thank you so much for our new tables! My students love them and the quality is out of this world.
Although my class only got to experience these tables for a month before school got out, they really enjoyed them and sharing a space with their friends. My incoming students, and future first graders, will be able to experience them for a very long time and I am so grateful.
During the month that my students got to test them out, I noticed more sharing and better communication within their groups. They helped each other more and took on a good table team mentality. I can't wait to see where it takes my new first graders next year!”

Mrs. Lubinski- Jussaume

Funded Aug 28, 2018Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. Our many students who are English Learners use the vocabulary picture cards often and love that they are learning the English word for things that they only had a name for in their first language. It is so wonderful to see them learn these new words and be able to watch them use them when they are speaking or writing.
Our students also love the puzzles and discussion cards. We have been using them more and more to make connections to others' ideas, add on to their ideas, and politely challenge ideas. The puzzles have been great to show students that words can look the same but mean different things and to build their vocabulary.
Thank you again for our wonderful new additions to our classroom. You have made a huge impact on my students and their learning and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Lubinski- Jussaume
Good Morning, Good Morning, It's Great To Be At School!
Funded Jan 11, 2018Thank you so much for all of your generosity to my classroom. The students and I love our new rug and enjoy it several times a day; during morning meeting, read alouds, center work, and science activities. It allows every student to have their own space so that they are comfortable and are able to learn without being cramped on a smaller rug. This new rug has also increased their focus while we are working as a whole group on lesson launches and new math concepts. We are all loving it and are very grateful for all of your kind donations.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Lubinski- Jussaume
