My students require various forms of sensory input throughout the school day in order to maintain focus. Their various disabilities and young age result in an inability to remain on task and engage in socially appropriate behaviors without the necessary accommodations. CanDo Ball Chairs and Think-N-Roll footrests will allow my students to fulfill their need for movement while engaging in academic tasks. This will help tremendously in the acquisition of new skills. Other resources (i.e. fidgets, weighted shoulder pillow) will allow the students to appropriately obtain desired sensory input during various parts of the school day. This will help both socially and academically.
