Sensory Space for Special Needs Classroom
Funded Mar 2, 2024I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of my students and myself, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation toward creating a sensory area in our high-needs classroom.
Your support means more than just a financial contribution; it is an investment in the well-being and success of our students. With your donation, we have been able to provide a calming and stimulating environment that caters to the sensory needs of our learners. This sensory space is already making a positive impact, allowing students to better focus, self-regulate, and feel more comfortable in their learning environment.
Your kindness and commitment to improving the lives of children with special needs have made a significant difference. The sensory area is helping to foster a sense of security and joy for students who may otherwise struggle to engage in a traditional classroom setting. It's a tool that not only supports their academic growth but also their emotional and social development.
We are truly thankful for your generosity and for believing in the potential of all students, no matter their challenges. Please know that your donation is making a lasting difference in our classroom, and we will continue to work hard to ensure that every student can thrive.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Curto
Flexible Seating
Funded Nov 9, 2020Thank you so much for the flexible seating. Due to covid, my students really struggled to sit in their seat. They were not used to sitting for so long. The flexible seating let them get their wiggles out while working. These wiggle cushions really helped them learn. The students were able to use them in small groups and they were so excited to sit on them. They loved that they were able to pick which side of the seat will help them learn. With all the changes due to covid they were happy to each get their own seating to use when they needed extra support.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Curto
