I am working hard to provide each student with the opportunity to learn how to effectively use a DSLR camera to create desired results. This project requests two Nikon DSLR cameras for students to use instead of their cell phones to capture photos. Being able to change settings on a camera to create the desired results will improve their photographic skills. I will be able to teach students about the different settings on the cameras as I am unable to do so now as many of their cell phones do not have the option to change specific settings. Students in my classroom will also be using these cameras to take photographs of special events that take place throughout the school year for the yearbook. Better quality photographs create better quality yearbooks for these students to keep for years to come. Students are required to take photos as well as design the yearbook from scratch.
