My students have the cardboard version of this right now, but it is completely broken and held together only by duct tape. We need a sturdy and beautiful replacement, but do not have the money for an improvement. We use our cubbies for storage and independence. The kids know their assigned numbers, and are able to retrieve materials and clean up after themselves without teacher guidance. This storage unit is also movable, allowing me to slide it into the supply closet when not in use, freeing up vital classroom floor space for my 30 students to move about in our room.
