  • Cut Down on the Noise!

    Thank you so much for giving my students top-notch headphones! They were so thrilled when we opened the box and tried them on for the first time! My students come from low income families and hardly ever receive anything new - we are so grateful for your generosity!

    My class has the wonderful opportunity to use iPads every single day. They absolutely love the educational apps and can't get enough of the plethora of books available on the iPads. Unfortunately, without headphones, these iPads can be loud and distracting, especially when I am working with small groups. It has been very difficult getting my small group to focus when nearby, several students are listening to a book or trying to solve a math problem on their iPads. Rather than cut down on iPad time and reduce the amount of technology exposure, I asked for headphones from DonorsChoose! These headphones have created a much better learning environment by cutting down on the noise but still allowing students to work independently.

    I have noticed such a difference in my classroom since we received the headphones! My students are more focused and less distracted! Additionally, my students have treated these headphones so respectfully and understand they were gifted to us by generous people! Again, thank you so much for this donation!”
