Distance Learning Supplies
Funded Aug 21, 2020Thank you so much for continuously contributing to my classroom. I want to personally reach out to thank you so much for the wonderful supplies that have been given to my students. My students are now able to use the supplies as they work from home with me virtually. In order for them to be successful they need to still feel like they're part of the classroom in the community. Having these resources and supplies gives them the opportunity to work with their peers and be proud of what they are able to accomplish with their new supplies.”

Distance Learning Supplies
Funded May 5, 2020Thank you so much for your wonderful donation! When my students received the package that was full of materials for them to use at home, they were super excited to get home and start working. I wanted to provide them with some materials that they are used to in the classroom and that will make them feel comfortable at home. Not all of my students are able to purchase these extra things that will help them thrive academically. Your generous donation helped me provide each student with a reading book, math book, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpener's, math flashcards, scissors, glue, notebooks, colored pencils, crayons, and markers. Thank you so much again!!!!”

Funded May 12, 2020Thank you so much for your wonderful donation. My students were so excited to receive their new Sphero robots as a reward for working hard during distance learning. I wanted to keep everything as normal as possible for my students being that we were not in the classroom. This was a fun way for them to be encouraged to continue to work outside of the classroom. They were able to be rewarded for their hard work. I want to thank everyone again so much my students were super happy when they receive their reward for their hard work. Thank you so much again!”

Funded Dec 17, 2019Thank you so much again for the donation so that we could purchase Sphero robots. When my students opened the package they were beyond excited to see the robots. We have already started to Implement the materials into our math lessons. Students had to problem solve to program the robot using their iPad. They are currently using them for multiplication practice. I am using them to implement more technology for learning stations not only for math, but for reading and science as well. I am so grateful and hopeful that these robots will be a continued part of our learning in our workstations. Thank you so much again!”

Funded Feb 6, 2019I wanted to thank everyone for their generous donations. When my students received their brand new books they were so excited to start reading them. We use these books daily in our independent reading and during our read aloud. They students love listening to new stories as read by myself and by other students. This has made such a great impact on the students who do not have access to new reading materials at home. They are able to come into my classroom and find the latest and most popular books that they would not have access to otherwise. The picture books really help my ESL students by giving them a visual of what they are reading and this helps them increase their vocabulary and comprehension. Every day my students love to read in the mornings by sharing books with one another and practicing what skills they have learned. They continue to increase their reading levels by being more confident in their reading selections. I am hoping they will continue to appreciate reading and books like I do. These books are allowing them to open up their minds and imaginations and explore a whole new love for reading.”
