First and foremost I want to thank you for this donation. I’m so forever grateful for all the opportunities and supplies that I’ll be able to provide to my students. These are things that I would never have any opportunities to purchase on my own and I am forever grateful and so are my students. Thank you again.”

I want to thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom. The supplies that were purchased were for my science classroom. We've used them to purchase materials such as paper, construction paper, and other classroom supplies needed the students now have these hands on opportunities that will allow them to excel in science, these hands approaches to learning will help them as well. Have a better understanding of vocabulary when students are learning with hands on materials they get to experience real life world situations that they are not typically able to experience outside of the classroom. I think you again.”

I am forever grateful to you and your generosity. My students are benefiting from all of the hands on opportunities that will enhance and extend their learning. These science tools will benefit my English Language learnings with providing them with opportunities to speak with their peers about what they are learning. This is increasing their use of academic vocabulary and is allowing to master the content. I am so excited to see what this year brings for my students and for my future students. I am truly thankful.”
Thank you so much for thinking of my students and providing much-needed materials for our science classroom. These materials will provide them opportunities they may not have at home, to problem solve, critically think, and work in teams. My students were so excited when they saw all the package. They started opening them and were immediately wanting to dig in and get their hands working. I think one of their favorite things we received was the real life investigations kit. When students are exposed to fun interactive hands on tools, they stay engaged and want to learn. Again I thank you so much for your support.”

Thank you so much for your wonderful donations. I just wanted to reach out and thank you all personally for thinking of my students. The supplies were purchased with the intentions of my students being able to practice hands-on skills at home. They will now be able to take these tools and practice daily at home when they're not in the classroom. They were super excited to open the packages and very grateful to everyone who thought of them in this difficult time of virtual learning. Now they have their own materials and supplies that they can call their own. These materials give them a sense of normalcy in this difficult time. Thank you again from all of us at Southwest schools for this opportunity to continue to grow and thrive.”

Thank you so much again for your wonderful support! I am so excited that each of my students will receive a packet of books of their very own that they can read at home. When we return to school in the fall the students will not have the ability to check out books from our library or from my classroom due to the spread of germs. My students do not have the resources at home to purchase their own materials. It's been a very difficult transition from in the classroom to distance-learning and I really want to give them their own materials so they can be successful reading at home. I want to thank you so much again for your continued support and the support of teachers.”

My students already come from homes where their socioeconomic status impacts things such as meal choices and exercise. Letting my students have the opportunity to wear a pedometer will hopefully increase their motivation to stay active and healthy, and to make smart choices. This tool will also create an understanding of math by helping them develop the skills they need to analyze data and keep records of their steps.
My students are very competitive. They can use the trackers to compete with other classmates allowing them to take ownership of their health by creating personal fitness goals. Working as an individual or with a team, they can encourage one another to meet their goals.
I know these pedometers will encourage them to make smarter choices and stay active. They are so active and full of energy. This could be the tool to help motivate them to take it to the next level.
