I started this school year late and I'm starting from scratch. Setting up a classroom for success is a year round task. I want to be able to enrich my student's lives by giving them the best education I possibly can. In my class library we do not have book variety or leveled reading book bins. Building up the library is definitely a priority. The soft seats and reading book classics I requested will be used in our reading corner/class library. The books will expand our library and the colorful seats will allow my students to have a comfortable place to sit while enjoying reading time on their level (the bins in my cart marked A-D have books that are level specific). The reading/literacy stations titled, "Teaching Reading Skills" will help my students become strong readers. We are about to start implementing math stations in our classroom; the math stations in my cart will help lay a strong math foundation.
