Most of my students do not have technology at home so school is the only place they have access to it. My students need games and activities that focus on the alphabet, letter recognition, and writing, as well as math manipulatives to help improve their math fluency. My students will use these materials to explore and enhance their learning through building, drawing, counting, making letters and sounds, and then words! Osmo is a magical system that fosters creativity and problem solving skills through hands-on play. These activities will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together. They will be able to use these manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, learning letters and sounds as they make words, numbers, and explore counting skills. Your generous donation to our project will improve our first grade classroom by building a stronger reader, writer and math expert. This will change our students' lives and allow them to explore new technology while having fun and learning.
