My goal with my art students is to expose them to as many different artistic styles and media as I can in a semester. I would love to expand our current materials store to include fun projects like oven-bake clay, magnet and button making, and scratch art. My Resource students are preparing for life after high school. In class we learn about budgeting, credit and credit scores, how to plan for moving out, investing, and other "adulting" skills. They would benefit from some solid transition planning materials such as workbooks and guide texts that I can use to supplement current lesson materials. All of my students love hands-on projects and fidget items. I have a few, but not enough to go around. Including more tactile building sets and puzzle fidgets to my classroom will increase engagement and hands-on learning during lessons.
