  • Juice Up Learning: Help Us Power Our Classroom Technology

    The addition of the laptop cart and charging station has significantly enhanced my students' ability to engage with technology. With their devices always charged and ready for use, disruptions during lessons have been minimized, and transitions between activities have become smoother. This has given students greater access to digital tools, allowing them to collaborate more effectively, conduct research, and complete assignments with ease. The project has also fostered a sense of responsibility and organization, as students are more mindful of maintaining their devices throughout the day. Additionally, the cart has improved classroom management by enabling quick transitions to digital activities, eliminating the need for cumbersome setup or sharing limited devices. Overall, this project has streamlined lesson delivery, making instruction more dynamic and flexible.”

  • Flexible Seating for Teacher of the Day

    Thanks very much for donating to the project. My students have greatly benefited due to the immense boost of confidence and drive it has created in my classroom. Everyone yearns to be the student of the week and steps up to the challenge by striving for excellence. They compete for that coveted position to seat on the chair since it is much more comfortable. This has also helped me in that it has provided an opportunity for a student led center. This chair has served as a very good incentive for my students to increase their participation in the classroom.”

  • Support Girls Inaugural Soccer Team

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

    We used the soccer balls, goals and other resources to run scrimmage for intramural games. We also used it for practice drills. The girls were excited for the games, but more importantly for the opportunity to play the sport among their friends. We hope to continue building on the skills acquired during practice.

    We are grateful for the support that you have provided in helping the girls enjoy soccer. For many, it was much more than just a game. They enjoyed the camaraderie and physical activity.”

The teacher chairs will serve as chairs for students when they earn "Teacher for a Day!" Being a teacher for a day is a great incentive that my students can earn throughout the week. Students will have a separate space in the classroom where they get to teach, and provide feedback to their peers alongside the teacher. Cleaning products play an essential role in our daily lives at home and in our classrooms. The removal of contaminants prevent the spread of infectious diseases and help us to stay healthy. I am asking for cleaning products to keep my classroom clean. My middle school classroom sees 6 different groups of students each day and cleaning the desks between each session is essential to all of our safety. Donating to our project will help my students use the disinfectant spray and Clorox wipes to clean their desks prior to seating and after occupying the space for an activity. The disinfectant sprays will also be used to disinfect classroom supplies and laboratory equipment that the student groups share during science labs.
