My students were ecstatic about all the snacks we received for our classroom!!! Each day they were excited to see what I had to offer them. Meal time was a fundamental part of our classroom and was an opportunity to engage in conversations with their peers, gain independence and responsibility.
Each day that we had snack, it was an opportunity to have children assist with passing out the supplies needed. It initiated conversations about their favorite foods and their routines that take place outside of school.”

My first grade students needed these books to bring our units of study to life! These books allowed them to teach their peers and teachers about different topics of interest. It is so helpful for students to have a wide variety of texts available to them to learn about the different formats of books when making their own informational books! They loved reading their books to their peers and it shows how much books can impact student learning!! They were excited to do this work each day and were proud to see their books on display on the bulletin board in our hallway!”
My students and their families LOVED playing bingo during our parent engagement celebration for the Lunar New Year!! A lot of my students were unfamiliar with the game and it was a great opportunity to teach them how to play and have this experience with a family member. We used the decorations and other items to make treat bags for the children as well. It was a wonderful afternoon! My students also enjoyed the book we received about the Lunar New Year and were excited to make a class dragon! Thank you for making this experience possible.”

We use our new resources for centers every Friday as a way to wrap our day! My students LOVE switching centers and utilizing our new materials in a variety of ways. It allows them to be creative. They can enhance their social interaction with their peers by sharing, taking turns and working with other friends in the class. They were super excited to receive these new materials. We have such a wide variety of choices for centers , it is their favorite activity to participate in. As you can see, they are completely engaged in whatever they are working!!!”

Thank you so much for participating in my project! My students LOVED our new read alouds to learn more about the Lunar New Year!! They were eager to listen to these stories. We had an awesome display in our hallway as well from the new decorations we received. We celebrated by making paper lanterns and crowns in honor of the Year of the Rabbit!!! They also loved the special stickers and frames. We even had a dragon dance in our school. We wrote down a wish we had for the new year and fed it to the dragon during the parade. It was a fun filled celebration had by all.”
My all about the basics project is a necessity in my classroom!! Pencils, disinfectant, and computer ink are materials used throughout the entire school year. My first graders are eager to have fresh pencils as they begin new writing each day or during math time!! You can never have too many pencils!!!! The clorox wipes also go to good use each morning so I can wipe down their desks and all other frequently touched services in my classroom. You know you clean a lot when a child is able to realize it and appreciate it!!! The computer ink has allowed me to print so many projects and add color everywhere in my classroom. As you can see, I have charts and student work in every available free space!! I want my room to feel warm, inviting and a place where my students are excited to learn in everyday. You have been able to keep this happening, THANK YOU!!”

As you can see, my students are so engaged in their reading with all of these wonderful new titles they have to look through!!! My students are flying through reading levels this year. These books are a great way to build their comprehension skills about these stories. Each day reading may look a little different. Sometimes, my students are reading independently(as shown in my pictures), other times they may be reading with a partner or conversing in small groups to share their ideas. We have also incorporated ipads as a way to conduct their nonfiction reading and conduct research on topics they are interested in! Thank you for contributing to my project and these books will have an impact on my current and future firsties who enter my classroom.”

My printer has gotten a lot of use over the last few weeks since I received it! I was able to print some math halloween games to be used for all the fun activities I had planned on such a fun filled day! My printer also helps me print anchor charts from our curriculum and vocabulary cards to further assist my students around our classroom with each subject area! My classroom is full of color, resources and words -- I love walking around and seeing my students utilize these resources. As we have different holidays coming up it will also be helpful to print other materials for my students.”

These books were a crucial part to my students learning for our unit Series books. Even though my students have access to technology and get books off of different websites it is not the same as being able to look in an actual book. Having that book in front of you really helps a child learn and grasp the information needed to take notes and share their research with peers. I was able to provide all levels of learners with different leveled books so that all my students can participate and learn from their peers.”

These materials will allow my students to take a break from their daily routines and engage in meaningful activities with their peers! They enjoy hands-on activities and these building sets will give my students the chance to get creative and showcase their skills outside of reading, writing, and math time. I know my students will love the opportunity to play with a variety of building sets and other activities that I can turn into interactive and engaging center activities each week. It will also be a great opportunity for them to build their communication skills with their peers in groups!
