• It's Time for Paper!

  Funded May 4, 2021

  Thank you so much for your generous donation. We are so thankful for the paper. It is highly needed during the school year. It is used to print resources, charts and even books for students. When we received the donation the students were very excited! They were able to get homework and classwork using the paper. Students were also excited about math worksheets. They enjoy doing work and activities on worksheets. The next steps is to give them a math project using the paper. This will make the students happy and they will enjoy being creative.”

• Time For Toner!

  I am so grateful for your donation! We have been without toner since the beginning of the school year. It has been difficult to provide my students with the supplements they need to use for their work. Now that we have toner I will be able to print out charts, and reading passages (based on reading levels). It will also help my students with math. Some of them need multiplication charts to help them skip count. Once again thank you so much for your generous donation!! It was greatly appreciated.”

• Document Camera Needed for All!

  I want to let you know how thankful I am for your donation. This document camera is a life saver especially on days that we are remote learning. It is hard on a regular day to teach especially under the circumstances but with a document camera it will change everything. With a document camera I will be able to show my students documents and still be able to see the entire class as a whole. I will also be able to write on the paper work I am projecting to my students. It is very hard at times for my students to understand a lesson without using visuals. My students will be able to see more and it will make me feel better that they are able to see/view the lesson in a different way. Thank you so much for your generous donation.”

• Help Us With Writing Supplies

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students love seeing their new writing process folders. Some of my students are unable to keep up with their stories and having these folders will help them organize their pieces. It will also help them follow the writing steps clearly. I want to also thank you for the reams of paper. It is very hard as a teacher to receive paper and this is a great asset for my classroom. The writing journals will also be great for writing. My students are going to love writing in their new journals. Once again we are so grateful for your donation.”

• You Don't Have to Take Away the Fun to Learn!

  These games have been very beneficial in the classroom. The adding and subtraction games were a hit! This was actually our first math unit this school year. After teaching the lessons my students were given time to use these games and it was highly effective. They enjoyed every moment and so did I waching them engage with one another. We've started to multiply so I'm excited to see how they react with the multiplication set. This is a prime example that you do not have to take away fun in order to learn. Thank you for helping me reinforce learning and showing my students a different way to learn.”

• A Toner a Day Goes a Long Way!

  I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the toner. It is really hard to get in a school with many other teacehrs in the building. Being a special education teacher I create and search for a lot of resources to help my students succeed. Some students are unable to access the internet from home so printing worksheets for them is another supplement. This toner will go a long way this school year! • A Classroom Printer for a Title One School

  I want to thank you for your donation. It is such a thoughtful and generous gift. These past 2 years my classroom printer has been working with a mind of its own. There were times when my students would ask me to print fun math worksheets related to lessons and I was unable to do so. After a while I would print from home spending a lot of money on ink because my students are visual learners and they need pictures, charts, and outlines to help them. I couldn't just say oh well my printer doesn't work. This classroom printer will be put to great use and we are so grateful! Once again thank you so much!”

• Technology Is a Building Block in the Classroom!

  I want to thank you again for your generous donation. Having these tablets allows my students to have some reinforcement on what they've previously learned. They enjoy practicing previoulsy learned skills on the classroom surface pros. My students also love to see when work is being presented to them on something that is not always paper. When teaching students with disbailities, you will have to come up with different methods of teaching. In my class most of my students are visual learners and these tablets are very beneficial for them. Once again we are so grateful for your donation.”

• School Supplies Will Help Us Thrive!

  We are so thankful for all you've done. These school supplies will go a long way for my students. They were excited to see the laminating sheets because they like doing task cards I make for them. This is practice for any math or reading lessons I've taught them. My students also enjoyed seeing the dry erase boards with markers and magnetic erasers. • Great Books with Flexible Seating!

  Funded Apr 16, 2019

  Reading is of course an important skill we all need to aquire. But reading goes hand in hand with being able to understand a text. With these new books it will help strengthen my students comprehension skills. We've read some of the texts aloud as a group and during these lessons I asked them rigerous questions. I also allowed the students ask their own questions about the book. These are the moments that turn into something more than just reading a book. We've had full on debates after reading a book and I enjoy seeing my students engage in healthy conversations.

  They also love the flexible seating. I've never seen students so enthusiastic about grabbing a book to go sit down and read quietly in their own speacial area. Thank you for everything.”
