I am beyond excited to provide this butterfly and ladybug experience to my inquisitive, amazing second graders. I truly appreciate your generosity and kindness. • Spring Butterflies and Art Supplies

    Funded May 8, 2024

I am so thankful that you were able to allow an incredible learning experience to my third grade class. The students were engaged, interested and motivated to see caterpillars turn into butterflies. They actually were able to move the caterpillars to their habitat, watch and record what they observed and finally move them into a net for them to change. They truly were able to articulate the life cycle of a butterfly. We even went into the schoolyard and set them free! What a wonderful learning experience! Thank you so much!”

  • Creativity with Play Doh in Third Grade

    Funded May 7, 2024

The students in my third grade classroom loved the Playdoh. They constantly asked me if they could have some to explore with. After the NY state math and ELA test, the students were able to create anything they want with the Playdoh. They decided to open a restaurant and were so creative in making food. They worked collaboratively and had so much fun! I also had enough Playdoh left for them to take one home. I can't thank you enough for allowing my artistic third graders the opportunity to be creative and work well together.”

  • Make Independent Reading Time Fun in Third Grade

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

My sincere gratitude for the book pouches, bookmarks, and headphones. The students carry their books home every day and the book pouches have be so helpful. They always want to take their books home to read. The bookmarks help them save their place in their books and motivate the students to read more. The headphones have been a tremendous help for our computer curriculum, I-READY. They listen to individualized lessons in math and reading. They also use them to listen to books on the computer program EPIC. I am beyond thankful for your generosity in supplying my third graders with supplies they desperately need.”

  • Paper, Paper Paper

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Throughout this school year, the supplies you funded for my third grade classroom have been used thoroughly. The students used the markers, construction paper, and dry erase markers for all subject areas. The dry erase markers are essential for math to show our work on our whiteboards. The chart paper has been used for anchor charts for reading, writing, science, social studies and math strategies. The copy paper is used for worksheets, homework sheets and writing responses. I can't thank you enough for making sure my students have these important supplies for the school year.”

  • Building Creativity in Third Grade

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My students had so much fun building creative structures with the Picasso magnetic tiles, Lincoln logs and crystal builders. It's so nice to see students using their imagination building and creating things and not being on a device. After the state ELA and math tests, I allowed them to play with the building materials and play doh. They were so engaged! They said thank you so many times! It was also a great opportunity for them to socialize with their peers. They built buildings, farms, homes and other creative structures. Thank you so much for enabling my third graders to have some creative play in school!”

  • School Supplies for the Third Graders

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Throughout this school year, the supplies you funded for my third grade classroom have been used copiously. The students used the markers, pencils, erasers and pens for all subject areas and even take them home to use for their homework. The book pouches allowed the students to bring books back and forth from home to school. The homework folders enabled the students to be very organized with their homework sheets, strategy sheets and to organize their math and reading homework. They were also very durable. I can't thank you enough for making sure my students have these essential supplies for the school year.”

  • Flexible Seating for Third Grade

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

Thank you so much for contributing to my project for flexible seating in my third grade classroom. My students were extremely excited to see the wobbly stools! They are able to concentrate more on their classroom activities by having this flexible seating option. They are able to sit on their stools during reading and math small group time as well as using a stool at their own desks. My active students are able to stay engaged during read alouds as well as whole class lessons. My students and I appreciate your kindness and generosity!”
