Art Supplies
Funded Apr 27, 2021Thank you so much for funding this project! Our painting project has quickly become a student favorite. We have been working on our paintings every day before lunch, and it is such a special moment in our day. My students love getting to use canvas and easels - one student exclaimed that she's never been able to paint on real canvas before. I'm blown away by the masterpieces they are creating, their focus and attention to detail while they work, and the overall impact this has had on our classroom culture.”

Front Desk Novel Study
Funded Mar 16, 2021Thank you so much for funding this project! Your donation made it possible for me to get a copy for every student in my class - and the copy is theirs to keep. Given this year's distance learning, there's nothing quite like getting a physical book in a student's hands.
My students are loving the story so far. Mia is a funny, vibrant narrator and her struggles are challenges many students can relate to. We're using the novel to explore the meaning of the American dream, and we're asking if the American dream is achievable for all people equally. My students are doing such amazing critical thinking and asking such interesting questions. Thank you again for making this possible!”
With gratitude,
Ms. May

Funded Nov 23, 2020Thank you so much for funding this project! My students were so excited to receive these care packages when they came to get books and supplies. Building strong relationships with my students has been more important than ever, and hasn't always been easy with a computer screen between us. Small gestures and tokens of appreciation go such a long way in making sure students feel seen and appreciated. My students and I are all so grateful for your support! I love being able to think of small but meaningful ways to acknowledge my students, and your support allows me to do just that.”

Funded Oct 8, 2019Thank you so much for funding this project! It brought a lot of shine to our classroom environment and smiles to my students' faces. Every student deserves a bright and cheerful classroom, and you generous donations allowed me to make that possible for my students. I'm now able to create and laminate my own classroom materials that are tailored to our curriculum (for example, word walls with unit-specific vocabulary) and student-interest (for example, posters about present-day activists who motivate and inspire my students).”

Ms. May
