• Coming of Age and Making Change

  Thank you so much for supporting this project! Students were so engaged in their literature circles. I loved being able to give students the chance to choose books that reflected their interests, identities and experiences.

  Literature circles are powerful because students are really able to own their learning - they set their reading schedule, they establish group norms, assign jobs, and lead the discussions independently. These skills will be essential in determining their future success!

• Dystopian Novels for Literature Circles!

  Thank you so much for helping make this project possible! My students were very engaged in these books, which sparked a lot of meaningful insights and interesting discussions in our class. It's also such a gift to be able to offers students the choice of what to read. • Headphones for Focused Learners!

  Funded May 6, 2022

  Thank you so much for helping equip my classroom with a class set of headphones. We use technology in various ways throughout the school day, and these headphones help students stay focused and engaged. Online platforms like iReady and Achieve 3000 are especially critical in helping students close some of the gaps in their learning. These programs provide targeted, individualized instruction so that students are able to work at their own level. Having a class set of head phones helps support my efforts to provide differentiated support to all my students.”

• The Classroom Library of Our Dreams!

My students were thrilled to discover all the new additions to our classroom library, and as their teacher I was thrilled to see them get excited by the new titles, characters, and authors they had never discovered before. At the end of the school year I even had a student ask if they come come and "visit the books" when they were in 7th grade. • Robot Kits for Future Engineers

  Thank you so much for supporting this project! These materials have enriched my students' learning so much. They were so excited to be able to build robots! Hands on learning opportunities are critical, especially in STEM classes. I am sure this experience has inspired my students and encouraged their interest in engineering, computer science and robotics.
