My students have had so much fun with this project and they have learned a lot about gardening. We were able to grow herbs and vegetables in our classroom from start to finish. With all of the greens we made a big salad and the student could not believe that they grew the food they were eating. This project is ongoing and will last our schools years and years!
The middle schoolers are currently growing another set of greens along with tomatoes so that they can make one huge salad for the whole middle school to enjoy. This has been such a meaning project and has shown students that not only are they able to grow their own food, but that you can grow year around in Alaska. Thank you so much for this valuable lesson you have provided with these materials.”
Thank you so much for taking the time to think about our school and students! We appreciate it so much and I cannot wait to give our library a much needed upgrade and to make it easier for students to use. None of this would be possible without the kind help of donors like you. Thank you again so much!”
Thank you so much! I cannot tell you how excited I am to implement this project and how many students will benefit. We are so grateful for the support within our school and classrooms. Donorschoose has made such a difference within Hydaburg this year and in previous years always helping to get our students the supplies we need!”

This project and the materials have encouraged my students to love reading and in doing so has improved their reading comprehension skills not only in reading but all other subjects. I love reading and this project helped me as a teacher to share that love with my students. It is so important to show students how reading can be fun and can take them to places such as Hogwarts School or Diagon Alley!
Thank you so much for taking the time to think of my classroom and students and to make this project come alive. The students in my class are creating memories that I hope will stay with them long after the school year is over.”
Thank you for taking the time to donate to these projects and give my students the opportunity to learn new skills they would otherwise not have the chance to learn. For this project students learned all about the tie-dye process and different techniques. Students had so much fun with this project and they will get to keep their tie-dye shirts to remember the fun they had in middle school! I think it is important for students to have access to art projects and science projects that allow them to get hands on throughout the school year.”

Thank you so much! I'm glad that Jesus led you to our project because I am beyond excited about implementing this project within our classroom. My students will be happy to have all these materials and for us to go over the importance of hygiene during the teenage years!”
Our class had enjoyed these science projects so much over the last few months. I have overheard some of the students exclaim how they wish science was always this fun! With the resources provided by this project I was able to share a different part of science, a hands on approach with my students.
Even other teachers have made comments on how much we have been doing in our class and how the students really need these projects! This year these students were able to take their knowledge to the next level and apply it to a hands on project. Weeks after we finish they still discuss how cool it was to crack open the geode or how messy they got on their archaeology dig. We have definitely created some memories that will last long after graduation. Thank you!”

As a part of Science my students learn about the solar system, including the moon and all of it’s phases. However, only 2 out of a class of 19 have ever used a telescope. Most students in our Elementary have never used a telescope and would not know how to use one.
There are so many things that kids can explore once they get excited about Science, the possibilities are endless! It is very important that students are able to directly observer the night sky and to kindle curiosity about Science. Not only will a telescope help students to better understand what they are learning, but it will also provide them with the knowledge of how to use telescopes which will benefit their future.
