You're Instrumental: An Educational Workshop for Bronx Musicians!

Thank you so much for your kind and generous donation to my students. This was the trip of a lifetime!

At our workshop, my students learned the tricks of the trade to being professional musicians. They worked with a top-notch clinician. Imagine their surprise when they found out the music they played was recorded the first time they attempted it! It was a real eye-opening experience! Students learned about what studio musicians do when they record for feature films. The workshop culminated in students actually getting to play and record music from both "Tangled" and "Frozen". They were then able to hear and see the music they recorded tracked with the actual footage from both films!

Now that we're back in the classroom, students have a better understanding of the importance of focusing and putting in their best effort the first time they do something instead of waiting for correction. Many of them talk about opportunities in the music field that they didn't realize existed before this trip.

This was an amazing trip that I simply could not have offered to my students without your support!”
